Provider Support

The Western Panhandle Early Steps Program is currently recruiting new providers to join our network.

The Western Panhandle Early Steps program requires a comprehensive interview, screening, onboarding, and training process. Not all interested individuals may move onto becoming a contracted provider.

The Western Panhandle Early Steps Program contracts with natural environment Infant & Toddler Developmental Specialists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Physical Therapists, as well as a number of other Early Intervention providers. All contracted providers are considered to be 1099 contractors of Early Steps at Sacred Heart Hospital.

All Western Panhandle Early Steps providers are required by the Early Steps State Office to enroll with Florida Medicaid, all Region One Managed Medicaid Plans, and Private Insurance Plans as appropriate.
